Bidrage med feedbackWe where brought in by our family friend to try authentic cuisine in this region of Italy. The pizza was to die for! So big that I can't finish the whole thin crust pizza. We finished the meal with limoncello which is similar to Mexican after meal shots of tequila. Limoncello was served on a small glass of pitcher with tiny shot glasses shared amongst the diners. The price for pizza was very much affordable. I think mine was €8 for the whole big pizza which I could have shared with my sister. The customer service is excellent and the ambience is informal, which I prefer than a formal resto. We saw a lot of lorries parked outside this resto as the location is ideal for travellers along E45 route to/from Rome Bologna. They told us that during summer is packed with tourist buses as part of their stop over meal. We went back for our second dine before we flew back to London. This time, I had tagliatelle ala ragu. I enjoyed it but I find it a bit salty than my usual taste. What I enjoyed tho was my sisters' ravioli in white sauce. I highly recommend so as the tagliatelle ala funghi. Their beef strips in veg are also yummy. We have had glasses of wine this time and finished about 5 bottles between 6 of us. This place is child friendly too. Don't forget to ask for the flat bread piadana, served as a starter. Best eaten whilst warm. Will definitely come back for summer!
In estate, c'è uno spazio esterno coperto.
This is your typical Romagnolo eatery. Hearty, savoury, filling your stomach and not emptying your wallet. In one word, the perfect combination. The pasta courses and meat dishes are very good, and accompanying them with a glass of local red wine is a breeze. Pizzas are large and well filled. The staff is friendly and willing to advise on the daily specialty. Only the location is a bit weird, perched as the restaurant is inside a motorway exit. But when the food is good...
