The Hadjidragana Tavern - Sofia

Very tourist facilities. It's really a restaurant for tourists. The food was very good. Had the lunch menu main course and drink for 11 Lev £5). Staff very pleasant, friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend a visit!

Really great food! Loved the eggplant starter and the meat. The rice that came with the lamb meatballs was excellent. Also great vibes and lots of interesting decor. Definitely would return if I had the chance.

This restaurant was a recommendation from a Bulgarian friend as a true traditional place and it was not disappointed! The food was delicious and we brought all our friends there next night. The decor is also amazing and service friendly. We especially recommend every lamb bowl and garlic flatcake! They also had the tenderest tomatoes we tried in Sofia.

We have published our experience here. I would say this is one, while in sofia. the waiters were very friendly and spoke English. the atmosphere is perfect. the food was also delicious! they were also child-friendly.

My favorite restaurant in Sofia. My friends and I shared a Balkanska skara for four and it was incredible. The meat was extremely delicious (pause). The salads and the garlic bread were also amazing. Make sure you get the baklava for dessert. Our waiter was polite and nice. They also have live music. Will definitely be back.
