Bidrage med feedbackI recommend this place for lunch. Pretty wide selection of what you expect (sushi and gyoza) and some that are less common (gyu don and curry katsu). Cheaper lunch than the usual lunch spots and authentic food! Added bonus: there is a section of japanese products you can buy, or some snacks to bring back to the office to munch. Thumbs up!
Run by a kindly old man and his family, this Japanese grocery shop is small but has a number of imported Japanese frozen food items that others don't like oden, mentaiko, abura-age and fresh onigiri. If you are particular about the quality of your sushi rice, here you will find imported Japanese rice. There is also a small selection of Korean food item like kimchi, noodles and pepper paste. On weekdays, the kitchen is open and you can order warm rice dishes and sushi. Besides food, you can also get unique Japanese kitchen assessories like wasabi grater, oil coagulators, scrubs and lacquered plates.
Had salmon, perhaps a bit too dry but the rest of the dish was on point. Miso soup and tea were also free. Would recommend!!
Friendly and lovely staffs! The taste brings me back to Japan. Very difficult to find the home cooked taste in Stockholm. Go shopping for some Japanese ingredients and eat lunch after. Recommend all the dishes but especially the beef gyudon. So nice that they could do take aways for the dishes to bring to work. Serves with roasted tea and miso soup. The miso soup tastes as genuine as it could and i could really taste the balance of konbu and miso in it which not even the fancy restaurants in Stockholm can bring out often.
They also offer South Asian spices in addition to a diverse selection of East Asian food products.
