The Roosteraunt - Smiths Falls

This restaurant is just like Mom used to make it. It's an excellent spot for breakfast or lunch with simple, homey dishes that are affordable and served quickly with a smile. It's a local favorite every day of the week, even on busy Sundays. They recently moved across the street from their old location and now have new tables and chairs, a bright and clean interior, and a small outdoor eating area that the old location didn't have. You can't go wrong with this place, and if you disagree, you might just need to go back to bed and start the day over. Two thumbs up!

Great breakfasts and lunches all home cooked. Fast service and good portions. Atmosphere is friendly with a hometown feel.

I had Eggs Benedict for breakfast and the quality was outstanding. Service was excellent. I will definitely be making a return trip.

Restaurant was clean, Bathrooms were very clean...arrived at 11:35 (I know this because breakfast cut off was 11:30 :< Ordered the fish and chips as well as a coffee... Beverage was fast, refills prompt. The fish was old and not very spectacular...The batter seemed weighted in grease and slightly undercooked. Fries were soft and felt as and looks if cooked in old oil. Coleslaw was from a commercial pail as was the tarter sauce. Both are easily made items that would benefit greatly if homemade. Service was slow.4 other tables in attendance and all had been served , yet took 25 min for my order. Perhaps as a breakfast place it may be better but for lunch, skip this and head to another .

Wesome food and great service. The waitresses are always cheerful and pleasant and remember your order from a month before lol
