Blackie's Bull Dog Tavern - Smithfield

This was our first time here. I wish we had come sooner. We loved everything about our dining experience here. The food was spectacular and I especially loved the curated menu with so many options for everyone; Vegan, Vegetarian, gluten free, meat seafood dishes. There's truly a quality dish for everyone, at a more than fair price. The staff was even better. Brittany was our server (we sat at the bar) and she was more than helpful and just all around awesome. We'll be back.

Had to wait 20 minutes for a refill on our drinks during our meal.

Food was fantastic. On some nights they offer free valet parking, which is nice. Try anything on the menu, everything is great.

Sadly the food is never coordinated properly meaning entrees never come to the table the same time or sometimes not at all. The previous time they lost the adults entrees orders and we left not eating dinner and last night we waited an hour for two sandwiches while the kids got there food 30 minutes before us. I'm not sure if another server takes the entrees or if it's the kitchens fault. The food is very good so we keep coming back hoping it was just an off day with the kitchen staff or waiters. Please just improve the service and timing of meals coming out otherwise it's great.
