Not Just Donuts - Slidell

The one on Gause Blvd is the best! ALWAYS FRESH DONUTS! Never dry, old and stale like the others!

This place has really good donuts and has a good selection to pick from and it doesn't cost extra for specialty donuts when getting a dozen

Doesn't look like much but they have the best donuts I have ever had. Their apple fritter is amazing. If you need a sweet morning treat, definitely stop by.

Can't say enough good things about people, service and delicious donuts. Of course someone could say it. There's a line almost out of the door. We're waiting for these donuts. And the woman behind the counter is the most beautiful person ever.

Just ordered from the shop on Pontchartrain. I had very bad experiences with the Gause shop in the past, so I decided to give the Pontchartrain store a chance and to my shock they were even worse! What I mean is that it was very obvious that it was a day-old donuts, like in Donuts from the day before, which were not sold and were brought out again because they were stone cold!! We don't talk cold, like at room temperature as a little cool, because they sit out for a few minutes. They were so cold that they felt like they were literally taken out of the freezer! I just paid over $21 per day old stone cold donuts!! This was the first time I ordered from this store and after today it is now the last!! If I'm honest, I just ordered from this store because I stuck at home in a position where I couldn't go. I can promise you that it is NOT due to its “stellar reputation”!! Usually I would either Jelly Donuts Kolaches Of Slidell (absolute BEST!!!!! or Tasty Cream Donuts. I find it interesting that the one five-star rating was from a local leader and they made it a point to say “I saw them taken out” almost as if they were trying to prove something. Either that or the place knew they were coming. At least this is my theory at all!!
