Bidrage med feedbackStayed here as a harvest host stop. $25 for dinner for 2, live music and a place to park for the night! Our server, Heather, was also GREAT. Such a good pick!! $10 cover for the band if you aren't eating dinner.
Went to hear a live rock band. Nice venue for live music in Slidell. $10/person cover was reasonable. Band was very good. Some call brand drinks can be costly...a call bourbon for me was $16 I believe, for a bourbon I can but the bottle at a liquor store for about $30. Beer was cold and reasonably prices. We did not eat this time but someone near us had a BBQ sandwich that smelled great.
This is a spur of the moment stop on my trip back home to Alabama. Needless to say, I’ll be back again. The food is FANTASTIC! The atmosphere is awesome. Definitely the best biker bar/grill in the south! Met the owners and they’re down to earth awesome people! Small menu, but everything is full of flavor! I look forward to being back again ??????
Been here a few times now and always had good food. The service is attentive without being overwhelming. Last night I had the pulled pork grilled cheese and so far I think it's my favorite thing on the menu.
Went to High Octane for the first and last time today. 1200 noon and the only customer in the place. According to the receipt Ashley K was the server. She walked up with not the best attitude and slipped some paper menu on the table. Ordered two burgers and three pounds of crawfish. The place on the inside is very well done. Choice of music could be a little less heavy when attempting to get diners in the place. Had to wait for crawfish to soak about twenty minutes. Once done they were brought out and I wish I would have had a scale did not look like three pounds but kids liked them so oh well. Burgers well typical bar burgers. Refills on drinks on time. Now for the best part. Waitress comes over and says the amount of the bill. NO receipt no ticket just the amount. So I am just supposed to believe what ever she says. I asked for paper copy of bill. She seemed offended. She come back with paper and places it on the table. I look the pull out a credit card she comes over with these little machines they are using now and points it in my direction with 25% tip on it facing me. I then took it from her hand as she would not put it on table like I was just supposed to give her what amount she faced at me. I have been a 20% or higher tipper my whole life as I worked in the F&B industry in my younger days. Now I am entering a less than 20% tip and pressed would like receipt as she comes back and slams the receipt down and walks away. I don't know how this places stays open but it could be a nice local hang out with adequate food and close to home. Maybe not try to push the biker bar and change the music. When this happens they may see a change in business. I have a lot of people tell me they don't care to go to a biker bar.
