The Freeze is everything I loved about my childhood. I always looked forward to special trips to Tasty Freeze, and this place has been frozen in time, right down to the old-school menu board. It is still as good as I remember. The cheeseburgers are my favorite, and the fried pickles are pretty awesome, with just a touch of spiciness. I love their ice cream and shakes with all the varieties of add-ins. The limeade is true perfection and tastes like grandma's. The sweet tea tastes fresh brewed. I'm not as crazy about the French fries--they always seem a little sad, soggy, and undersalted. The Freeze often has a line out into the road, and I understand why. When something is right, don't change it.

The staff was very nice and polite. But the burger was the best I've had since I moved back to Oklahoma. It was very juicy and perfectly cooked. I'll have to go back and see if it is consistent or not. Fingers crossed.
