Sunrise Fish - Skala

Very good location to the right handside of Skala Beach, Kefalonia. We were back in Skala for the 1st time since 2017 and, in the meantime, Sunrise seemed to have gone upmarket quite a bit. As it says in the name, it is a fish based restaurant fish has gone up in price quite a bit, so do not expect a cheap evening. Dishes were good, good menu choices, but service seemed very slow. It was busy when we went although we had not booked, we were early enough to be able to get a table, so might be worth booking ahead.

I was amazed by the professionalism of the place. Most probably the best restaurant we’ve been to on the island of Kefalonia. The food was really good and I recommend the Salmon Teriyaki. The pita bread and tzatziki are super good. Vibe was unbelievably relaxing and service was top notch. We were so happy from our first visit that we decided to come back again 2 days later. Don’t leave without trying there Chocolate dessert with mango sorbet!
