Bar was closed! However, the palm beach is deserted in the low season. So very nice to relax :

A typical tourist place close to the famous Vai beach. Lack of friendly atmosphere and hospitality typical of Crete. I didn't get to try the food. After many minutes of waiting for my order to be taken and no response from the staff, I gave up eating at this tavern.

We went to this tavern based on the good reviews and were very disappointed. The ambience is really great. However, the prices for the portions are immensely high. The food was average and the service left something to be desired. Baked feta, for example, comes without anything. A piece of feta baked in the oven. I expected more. Bread was simply placed on the table (without us ordering it) and then charged for. Service: Dine in

The portions are very generous, probably justifying the higher than average price. I took a clay lamb: the meat smelled bad and was green... I didn't eat anything. My friend had major digestion problems in the evening while having a dish of fava and briam. Service ok nothing more. Price per person: €15–20
