Mission Grille - SISTER BAY

Whether for lunch or dinner, we have never had a bad meal, Spring, Summer, or Winter. One of our favorites in Door County.

Terrific. Personal service, excellent food and drink. We had the walleye and a Spanish chicken dish. We'll be back!

Had a caesar salad with shrimp my husband had the walleye. The salad dressing was oddly sour, the shrimp bland. The walleye was average but did have some remaining scales and small bones. The sides with the walleye were green beans and wild rice, the green beans were soggy like a bad steamer bag and the wild rice was bland. Service was fine.

My wife and I decided on Mission Grille for a higher end meal and experience while in Door County, staying in Sister Bay. We were extremely happy we made this choice. The restaurant was just beginning to get rolling for the evening, when we finished every table in the restaurant was occupied. Our service was spot on, the meal was exceptionally prepared. Although the deserts were calling my name I could not eat another morsel. The Pork chop I had with sweet potatoes and sauteed apples had me ready to lick the plate. I had two dirty Martinis prepared just right, which seemed to be too much of a challenge for other bar tenders in Sister Bay. Great experience all the way, we will be back when we return to Sister Bay in 2014.
