Punto G - SIRACUSA

This is one of the few places on Ortigia that offers live music. The atmosphere is fun and the sound is good quality. We went three times while vacationing in Siracusa and were not disappointed once. The cocktails are solid and the food is fine (stick to the pizza), but we were there for the entertainment. The staff was enthusiastic and welcoming.

Although this hidden gem is not completely visible from the street, it is entirely worth stepping into after dinner for a few drinks and enjoying the fabulous atmosphere and music presented by the hugely talented house band and singer, Lisa. If you like jazz, this is the spot for you, although they can play almost anything! Punto G have music every night and I went with my mum and brother on the swing jazz night on a Saturday and the “Jukebox” night on Sunday, where you can request any song. I would highly recommend this bar for all ages the music, decor and drinks cultivate a beautiful nighttime atmosphere just off the Piazza del Duomo.

I made a reservation for dinner and planned on staying through the evening since Punto G's had a live rock in roll band playing into the early hours of the night. It was also my wife's birthday, so I thought why not celebrate it there. All I can say is that Punto G's did not disappoint, they delivered in a big way! The food and service was excellent, but where they really excelled was in a personal way. The servers provided a nice birthday cake for my wife and delivered it in perfect timing. Additionally, the rock band was extremely talented and put on a great show. They played classic rock, disco, alternative, as well as great Italian music. 5 stars across the board. Thank you Punto G for making our evening so wonderful and memorable! We'll definitely be back!

Everything we ate was absolutely fantastic from the cooked vegetables, the variety of seafood and sardines, local cheeses, etc. Highly recommended!

Loved it here, really boiling hot day so sat in the beautiful courtyard in the shade. Staff could not have been lovelier so helpful and friendly. Had delicious tasty board of yummy food with a delicious salad and a good bottle of wine. What a relaxing lunch and then back into the opulent square to stroll around.
