Papa Woody's - Sioux Falls

For an easy fun casual pizza place, this is a good restaurant! The interior has awesome torched wood throughout, and it smells of wood fire as soon as you walk in. LOTS of options for pies, as well as an award winning burger from the Downtown Sioux Fallsburger battle. Friendly fast service, and good prices! I had the chicken pesto pizza on thin crust, and the meat lovers on handtossed. The thin crust was thin and crispy, just as advertised, and the hand tossed crust was thick and doughy, just asadvertise. Well done Papa Woodys!

Very nice atmosphere, quickly gets busy right at open (11am), and the staff were very friendly and sociable. The pizza was amazing, I picked the Buffapeno pizza on thin crispy crust. I picked because of the unique ingredients combination, whichsound weird but when combined, taste outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Usually end up ordering at the Papa Woodys food truck but was craving pizza so stopped in downtown for a Philly cheesesteak and Mediterranean personal pizzas. Delicious as always. Good service.

What a delightful surprise! Our server informed us they haven't been open for too long, so I hope they find a large fanbase so they can stay open and thrive. We were at the end of the last day of our trip, and we just wanted a nice spot for lunch. We hadseen their sign as we left the Falls Park and decided to circle back and try it out. We are certainly glad we did! The ambienceis great, like a big pub in Ireland. The food is handcrafted, delicious, and good portions. I asked for my fries to be just thisside of burned, and I was NOT disappointed. They were as crispy as potato chips! And for once, my pickle was thick and firm, notlimp and warm. And the the service was fantastic: friendly and attentive. One drawback, the menu sadly lacks any sort of salador side salad, even a wedge salad, though they clearly have iceberg lettuce.

Great food, but even better service. We ordered three pizzas for carry out and two of them were perfect and delicious. One was wrong and missing toppings. But the manager was very kind and willing to refund our entire meal, which I was only hoping for arefund on the one pizza. I have had their pizza before and never had an issue so I know this is not a typical mistake but theirwillingness to make things right just proves they are the best in town.
