Crave American Kitchen Sushi (hilton Garden Inn Sioux City)

Our reservation was late. We requested a booth and they said no, then proceeded to give the booth to another couple who didn't have a reservation. The noise level was very loud. We were seated at a table that was sticky. The chair had sticky stuff on it. It got all over my pants. We didn't even stay long to order drinks because we got up and left the restaurant. Worst service I have ever had and we will not be going. This was our FIRST and ONLY experience with Crave. We will not be recommending it to anyone. We IMMEDIATELY made reservations with Woodbury Steakhouse. Where the prices are near the same as Crave but the service is quality and it's clean! The staff are present with the conversation and our booth wasn't given out to someone else as if we were absolute disgraceful humans. The Crave staff looks we were given as our table was given to others who were dressed nicer, younger and clearly not black like me. I have never felt so low in my life.

For $100 tab, i figured the food would have been perfect. The asparagus was only edible up until about halfway and then the stock was too hard and chewy. The Frites steak I asked for Medium and got a nearly complete raw cut of meat. She was kind enough to have the cook remake my steak, which came out overly done the 2nd time. It's really not hard to cook a steak to one's preferred liking and the chef missed hard on this both times. Service was amazing and the appetizer (Bamboo roll) was delicious, otherwise I would not recommend the steak/asparagus combo.

The last two times that we visited crave we were highly disappointed. We waited for 10 minutes for a server to help us and he ended up being the bartender also. When we received our appetizers, the truffle fries were cold. While our drinks were being made, the server brought us water and my water had something floating in it. Gross! When we did receive our drinks, three of the four were incorrect. This was supposed to be a birthday dinner for my daughter. Which ended up being a nightmare! This will be the last time that we will visit crave, which is very sad as you used to be my family‘s favorite restaurant.

They had one server outside trying to take over 50 people orders, we didn't get to order for like 40 minutes and then the food didn't come out until and hour later and it was cold.. we will never go there again

We enjoyed dining at Crave today. Brunch was good but not very hot) and service was good considering how busy our waiter was. One way you can improve...when tables are wiped off, please tell your staff to avoid using the same cloth for the seats. We all know what is on the seat and I certainly DONT want that on my table surface! That really sickens us! An easy fix is to use one color cloth for tabletops and a different color for other surfaces such as chairs. Then train your staff to use them appropriately. We dine at Crave often and usually enjoy the food and service. Next time we'll watch closely to see how tables are wiped off. Thanks!
