A Praca - Sintra

We had the set menu 1 vegetarian and 2 vegan. The food was fresh and delicious.

Great experience here after visiting peña and sintra park. I had the four-headed lunch that filled, delicious and exactly what I needed. be sure to mention that they are vegan when they order so that they get a vegan dessert, I was accidentally given vegetarian dessert first. updated by previous review on 2023-04-22

TBH it’s all a bit over hyped. I appreciate the relief at finding a veggie/vegan place to eat somewhere where there are few on offer (more so because I’m coeliac so have the added gluten issue). The set three course meal on offer here was fine. Not particularly tasty, nothing wrong with it just nothing to get excited about.

Fantastic place for lunch in Sintra, where vegan food options (and open hours) are limited. The lunch special when we went had hummus with bread, roasted cabbage, salad, and I think another side. It also included a choice of tea or lemonade and dessert. All the food was delicious. The entrance is a little confusing because a couple of restaurants seem to share the same space, and there are tables for a different restaurant in the front entrance.

In this old market room a local woman created an amazing food concept. fresh local food. we went to lunch and took the menu of the day. suppe, salad, warm vegetables, cake, limonade. all homemade. highly recommended.
