Yishun 925 Chicken Rice (jurong East)

Yishun 925 Chicken Rice, located at Blk 132 Jurong Gateway Road #01-273, is my go-to spot in the west for delicious chicken rice. The poached chicken is juicy and succulent, paired perfectly with fragrant rice and achar.

This restaurant serves one of the best chicken rice dishes, however, many customers agree that the portion size is small. We ordered a half chicken and 2 servings of rice for $14.60 for 2 adults, but it was not enough for us. The chicken is tender and flavorful, and the rice is very fragrant. We recommend ordering an extra portion of rice. The meal also comes with a bowl of soup, a minimal amount of vegetables, and you can add sweet black sauce and chili sauce to your liking. Overall, this is high-quality comfort food.

I visited this restaurant on a weekend and despite the crowds, the service was fast. We tried the 925 chicken rice and it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend giving it a try. The price was reasonable, around $4-5 per plate. The rice was aromatic and the chicken was tender.
