Bidrage med feedbackI recently dined at Tippling for the first time. The ambiance was pleasant and quiet until the guests at the table next to mine arrived. One person in particular had a loud voice and never seemed to stop talking. The food was good, but the cocktails were even better. I would say that 80% of the dishes were excellent, while the remaining 20% were just average in my opinion. The service from the chef was great, but there was something lacking with the rest of the staff. I didn't feel the same warmth and welcoming attitude from them that I have experienced at other similar restaurants, both locally and internationally. The staff at those establishments made you feel so welcome that you couldn't wait to return, despite the cost.
They had excellent cocktails as expected. What surprised me more was how stunning their vegetarian tasting menu was. Almost every course blew me away. It was much more innovative than I’d expected and full of flavor. I also had a few bites of the non-vegetarian tasting menu and will definitely go back to try it one day.
None of the drinks disappoints. It is one of those places where I can drink and the bartender leaves me alone with minimal conversation which is right up my alley. I am sure the food would be fabulous. Fine dining cuisine though. Good for a date night, not great for the wallet. So come here for special occasions if you wanna have their dinner menu. You might be blown away.
Tried their tasting menu… everything was good and quite a few surprising dishes that both hubby and I enjoyed very much. Came on Monday night… quiet and nice ambiance.. staff were friendly and attentive. Good value for !
We had a great Chinese New Year dinner here with Tippling Club. The whole tasting menu is incredibly innovative and refreshing, it includes six appetisers, five mains and four desserts. Each dish is reasonably apportioned as well as being super filling when you finish them all! The presentation is also next level and the decor of the restaurant is unique (love the nods to Basquiat : Thank you, Chef Ryan Clift and your top notch team!
