The staff is very attentive and helpful. We had the Easter menu and shared a Japanese Scotch Egg, Roast Leg from lamb and fish and chips. Roast Lamb was the most tender lamb I ate! Was a bit over beef Wellingtons tried to Gordon's restaurant, but definitely try the Yum Cha and Variety of Wellingtons when I return to Singapore. A must to visit and stay when the hotel opens up.
I had the honour to dine in the English house, served by Chef Alex, who served us with the greatest warmth and attention to detail. He even came by to ask us how the food was and noticed that we did not have enough sauce to go with one of the dishes we had. The dishes were simple and very good. They are an epitome of how to make English dishes. Ingredients were fresh and served at the right temperature. The season was right. I've never seen my 7-year-old at the bottom his meal, the children's menu he chose was fish finger so fast. Thank you for having us. It was a Monday and the seats were slowly filled.
Celebrated my partner's birthday here on a Sunday. The Sunday Roast Menu was somewhat limited. Scotch eggs and beef Wellington. The beef Wellington was perfectly cooked and loved the sides that came with it. The Scotch eggs were also beautiful! A free cake was provided for the birthday party. Great service and fantastic food! I will be back to try their other articles More comments: loved the decor and ambience in the restaurant
I enjoyed most dishes in the English house of Marco Pierre White. Excellent food. Loves the bird nest egg tart, Lobster tilts with hairy crab sauce, pork with fresh crab meat and shrimps, Lobsterbrei and Classic Beef Wellington. I have to say the food is cooked for perfection. Service staff were nice and friendly. Very recommended!!
We came for our date night earlier this week where we enjoyed a sumptuous dinner together. One of the dishes we ordered was probably the most expensive Hor Fun we’ve ever eaten… but I would go back again just for this. The restaurant had a great retro vibe and amazing food and service to match. A little pricey to visit regularly but definitely a place for special occasions!
