Bidrage med feedbackThere are some vegan options at haakon, or they can customize their own bowls. eating is satisfying and healthy. the price is reasonable, especially given the fact that eating tastes better than other typical salatbars. the flafel and quinoa bowl $10,90) came with a generous portion quinoa, which was very fragrant and delicious with pesto sauce. the other ingredients were also warm and rich in tasteful falafel cakes, smokey baked pumpkin, as well as creamy and aromatic beet root hummus. only the cold raw zoodles were disappointing for me, as they were more blanding and tasteless. the vegan protein salat dish $14.90) had 35g protein that was made of a black bean puffty that was thick and spicy, although a tad try, as well as grilled black pfeffer tofu, which was dense and hearty, but strangely tasted quite similar to Chinese soy brat beancurd. there were also grilled snowblows and carved mais, both of which had a nice roasted scent. there was also a raw salat base consisting of shredded carrots and romaine salat, with a vegan maple tahini dressing that was mild sweet, but had a nutty aroma from the bottom sesame seeds. updated by previous review on 2020 08 01
I have the vegan green curry. it came first without the vegan huh, which was a stranger away to get it. the 'hähnchen' finally came, but it was still only essentially a rice bowl with a tiny portion of curry sauce. overall, okay, but not as good as I wanted to be.
As of December 2022, there have been changes to the menu at Haakon! In addition to the existing vegan options, customers can now create their own customized bowls. It is worth noting that the dishes may contain alliums. The food is generally healthy and the dressings are tasty, although some dishes may not always hit the mark (for example, the baked balsamic zucchini and zoodles left something to be desired). Conveniently located within walking distance from Paya Lebar MRT station. This review has been updated from a previous version dated January 1, 2023.
The restaurant also offers a variety of delicious juices.
I ordered the vegan green curry. It was served without the vegan chicken at first, which was a strange way to receive it. The 'chicken' did eventually arrive, but the dish was essentially just a bowl of rice with a small serving of curry sauce. It was okay overall, but not as tasty as I had hoped.
