Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and attentive service with careful attention to detail. The unique design created a beautiful and inviting space that was not overly crowded in the morning. It was a great spot for a casual meal. The food was a fusion of Japanese and Western cuisine. We tried the colossal bark and the Popeye dishes. The bark dish had generous portions of tender bark, although it was a bit too salty for my liking, it was still delicious. The pasta was also cooked to perfection.
We were in search of a laid-back, cozy, and not too crowded place for a relaxed Sunday brunch. We decided to visit Kohi-Ya, and it was just what we were looking for! We spent a few hours enjoying food, drinks, reading, chatting, and eating some more. The staff were welcoming and attentive. My partner, a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, was delighted with his coffee (he had two cups!) I opted for the citrusy and refreshing cold brew tea, which was perfect for the hot day. We tried the burger, inkfish colored orzo pasta, and avocado toast, and were impressed with each dish from the first bite. The burger could use some added texture, but overall, we were pleased. Additionally, we learned that they are working on expanding their dessert menu, and we can't wait to try it in the future. We will definitely be returning to Kohi-Ya for another enjoyable dining experience.
