Bidrage med feedbackMy friend brought me to Amò for a birthday treat. Food was very good! We had the calamari as starters and the charred iberico and truffle mushroom pizza as the mains. Kirby recommended those dishes to us and it turned out excellent. Thank you Kirby for the amazing customer service and for making sure we had a great experience. Will definitely patronize again!
Had a very pleasant Saturday lunch at Amos. The ambience is lovely and chic. The food is superb with attention to details. Caroline Lawrence deserves special mention for her hospitality. Great place. You won’t be disappointed.
We just simply loved it. Food was simply amazing. Despite the music that I personally find a tad too loud (I can't easily hear my attendant talking), the place is beautiful and has a good ambiance. Most importantly, the guy who tended to us was very friendly and we just vibed. He gave us a few recommendations, we took it and he actually checked with us how we liked it and if his flavour profile and our flavour profile matches. I thought that was an extremely nice gesture, he cares and put personality in his service which is uncommon in SG. Give this guy a cookie on the house!
Some absolute hits and just small misses. The ambience is great! We were seated outdoors at the back of the restaurant, they have proper ventilation there and good lighting as well. Started with the salad which is absolutely great. The dressing is of perfect ratio and the greens were nice and fresh. Speaking of another hit, that fries was divine. It was crispy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside, just how I like it. It's crispy and still very potatoey, best I've had in SG. The corn with bacon though is kind of a miss, it was ok. Same with the calamari, it lacked some flavor on the breading, the dip compensated a bit. The pizza has very nice marinara sauce, must order as well. Ordered a paella-inspired dish (with octopus slices), not my favourite, it's more risotto than paella. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. And oh, don't forget to have some cocktails along with it, they all pair very nicely with all the dishes.
I had a wondrous experience here with my family and friend. We were there to celebrate my daughter's belated birthday, and ordered a range of dishes that we all thoroughly enjoyed. These were the food dishes: 1. Crispy Calamari with Sumac and Sundried Tomato Aioli 2. House roasted Iberico Pork Ham with Tonnato Sauce and Sicilian Capers 3. Pork sausage pizza (added parma ham) 4. Homemade Spaghetti Chitarra, Anchovy Colatura Butter, Smoked Ikura 5. Butter Roasted Spring Chicken with Truffle Smoked Cheese Mash 6. Tiramisu Rarely have I ever enjoyed every single dish that I have ordered in a restaurant. The taste was superb, the temperature just right, and the presentation lovely. I had also never had such delicious tiramisu in my life the coffee liqueur taste was just right (for someone who does not like the smell and taste of alcohol)! On top of that, the staff provided us with excellent service as well. They interacted with my little girl, asked us if the food was fine, and even provided advice on the food we were ordering. What made their service a notch above the rest was that when asking for our tiramisu to be served, their staff mentioned that the alcohol in the tiramisu is very significant and that we should not offer it to my young daughter. Just as we were wondering what we could do to leave her out of dessert but not make her feel disappointed, the staff offered her a scoop of ice cream of our choice, on the house. It was not an expensive item, but this gesture really touched our hearts. I will surely return to try out their other dishes. Kudos to the staff for the tasty food and wonderful service!
