Henry's Smokehouse - Simpsonville

Very good!!!! In any case, will go back! My son and I love some BBQ food and this was our first time food from here! I think we found our new fav BBQ spot! Actually we think we have it tonight!!! Yummy!!!!

My wife suggested I was in town the next time. I finally stopped on Friday and the brisket plate with potato salad and green beans. Best bride I had since I was in Texas. The potato salad was excellent and the green beans were good. Served on wax paper and a piece of bread that she should serve BBQ properly.

The plaza and location are very good. But? The interior and decor is dark. They have these huge front windows, but the light seems to disappear within the place. I'm here three times and everything is always dirty floors, tables, soda machine. The flies are stubborn and plentiful. I think the quality of the meat with which they begin can be good. But the spicing always seems. Also not ever sitting near the restaurant. The bathroom or something stinks in the place where I was almost sick before I ate and during. Only completely inconspicuous. The back of the place is much gloomy with huge Elvis pictographs for a strange reason. Some supplies and or what a random obstacle course can be, save them straight to the right as you come; for all to see in what should be all the seating area. Anyone who is successful in the restaurant business knows that the front of the house seat is making money space (not cabinet space and cattle gates) a restaurant must have a working flow from the actual facility to people who move the place. Flying and smells do not go with food, people generally like to see what they eat, so lighting is important. It is as if this place is simply beaten up and the mere minimum is set in it. Maybe they're looking for a country or something, but it's not a working model. I hope the place takes the feedback and makes improvements. I am doubtful because I can go to this restaurant every day and cannot see clearly what can be improved immediately, only a kind of apathy can be explained.

It's okay, you could use a good update and good cleaning. All tables were sticky and peeling. Only two sauces to choose from, mustard and Carolina vinegar. I like sweet grill sauce, so it was disappointing to have decent BBQ without decent sauce. Too many other BBQ places to go back to this sad as it is in such a beautiful location in downtown Simpsonville.

I found food gold. This was barbecue unlike that other place were I was wasted $45 dollars. Two plates together came out to $37 dollars. My wife and I got the three meat barbecue plate. We had chicken ribs and hash. Unlike other folks who didn't even have chicken on the menu. We enjoyed dinner and everything was authentic down home cooking. I would highly recommend this restaurant....
