Bidrage med feedbackI love this place because it has a great variety of products that I can't find at other shops. They even carry May Wah in the frozen section, which I really enjoy. Plus, they're always willing to order something if they don't have it in stock.
7. Day Adventist operated business. Living Well has been named for several years. Christian bookshop with small food and juice/smoothie bar. Has a few prepared foods: a vegan and a vegetarian hoagie and sandwich, a few soups; a wide range of frozen products such as May Wah and others. Not totally vegan. No fresh vegetables or fruit. Very high prices when considering how many other options exist in the area. In a shopping center that includes a target, aldi and other large box stores.
I enjoy coming to this restaurant because I know they have vegetarian options. However, the prices are higher than expected or even what I find at other grocery stores. I typically only make purchases here when items are on sale.
I enjoy this restaurant's variety of vegan food, supplements, Christian books, skincare and makeup products, essential oils, and more. As a Seventh-day Adventist, I appreciate having access to Ellen White's writings. The quality of the products is excellent, but the prices are a bit high. Please note, they are closed on Saturdays to observe the Sabbath.
This place is one of the coolest and most unexpected places in the greater DC metro area. You really have to go in person to appreciate it. It's a VERY Christian (Seventh Day Adventist) place bookstore with loud Christian music and church promoting things all over the place. At the same time it has an all vegan (I think or at least almost all) grocery store! This is the first time I've ever seen such a thing and they definitely had products I've never seen elsewhere (like TheVegetarianExpress parmesan cheese sprinkles made out of almond flour and nutritional yeast and they were one of the first places in DC area to carry Chao Cheese). It also has lots of health/beauty products and teas (no caffeine). Personally I'm not into the religious stuff, but this place is seriously a jewel and I will go back.
