Bidrage med feedbackI loved this restaurant for the first time and was back two more times. Definitely worth a trip. Reccommend booking. Take a high look at incredible vistas. The food is exquisite, the ambience that is beautiful, as everyone in feel good moods created by uncompromising hospitality...and wine of the region. Great!
The view is breathtaking. The food is locally produced and freshly prepared. This is occupied by the small number of elements in the menu. You seem to organize the execution of orders in the kitchen by moving the menu into the next table in order...so do not expect your order to be taken shortly after your arrival. I suggest you attract a lot of who the driver will be, and then sit for a relaxed evening with aperitifs and wine and just enjoy the conversation. They serve French food best and that should not be rushed.
This restaurant is located on a hill in a beautiful old village. We had a table outside on the terrace and had magnificent views of the valley and the mountains, watching the sun set, beautiful experience. Food and service excellent. Really.
We ate there last year and enjoyed it. On our first attempt this year it was full on a Saturday evening so we booked a little earlier in the following week. We are pleased to see that it is deservedly flourishing. The food is freshly...cooked using local ingredients. Each course was described when it arrived. The 50cl carafe of house wine was very good and half the price of a litre of bottled water! The restaurant is maintaining its uniformly high standards at very reasonable prices. It is one of the best restaurants in the region. I could have managed with about two fewer slices of duck!
This restaurant is high up in an ancient small village overlooking the Durance Valley. There is a terrace and a bright modern interior with huge windows. The choice on the menu is small (three starters and three main courses). The food was freshly cooked, the...quality was very high and the prices very reasonable. Highly recommended for anyone in the Sisteron/Gap/Laragne district. It is worth a detour.
