For several years, we've been regulars at this restaurant, and it consistently offers solid, fast-casual Mexican food. The carne asada burritos and tacos are outstanding. The steak ceviche salad and tacos are also quite tasty. Parking is ample, which is a plus. Overall, the food quality is excellent, the restaurant is clean, and the salsa bar is one of my favorites. I would definitely choose this place over Chipotle, Qdoba, and Baja Fresh.

I always enjoy going to City Mex for a good lunch, and believe it or not, the staff is very welcoming, especially for a fast-casual restaurant. The experience at the cash register is always pleasant; they don’t rush you, and it seems like they work well as a team. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful. The soups are tasty, although I've noticed that when I order them, they tend to arrive warm rather than hot—this is something they could improve on, but the flavors are definitely there. The meats are always excellent, grilled fresh and sliced to order. It’s a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
