Liman - Sigacik Mahallesi

Our taxi driver recommended this restaurant, there is no doubt the location on the marina is excellent and the food was good , the shock was the bill when we questioned the bill the waiter sarcastically replied 'welcome to turkey ' £120 for 2 people !! We were devastated and shocked to say the least and will not return

Liman restaurant is tucked away in the harbour amongst all the fishing boats with great views of the hills and turbines. Open all day and during the quiet season, a bonus for the travellers who visit during the shoulder season. The team is full of energy and provides excellent service, is understanding and attentive to your requests, and is not intrusive. Extensive range of cold and hot appetisers, local fresh fish and seafood dishes, caters for red meat eaters, just a little heavy with the garlic; if this is not your thing, best ask for no garlic. We enjoyed some local starters, followed by one of the best seabass I have experienced to date, and it was superb. Liman has an eclectic interior; think of a ceiling designed to look like a reef, providing you with the whole seafood experience and works. Pricing is reasonable, and they happily accept credit cards. There is a reasonable range of local Turkish wines compared to other dining establishments in the area and higher quality options. You will be happy with your visit and dining experience at Liman Restaurant; we would have revisited it if we had more time.

I only had a bier with calamari and fries and it was really good. i would recommend the liman restaurant. service was really good

Very good food, high quality products. Of course, not cheap, but you're eating really next to the boats, the kids chasing the fish in the water... I liked every course, I had 3 different starter and a main course (all fish and seafood). Everything was fantastic! One is my friends ate steak, and it was prepared as he ordered it... We were with a bit bigger group, and some main courses arrived late, that caused a little tension, but all in all, it was really great!

Ask for harbor side table and recommend reservation. Food was very fresh and excellent. Nice fish and mezze selection. Service is pleasant but little slow but I guess everyone in vacation mode so that’s ok.
