San Domenico Gluten Free - Siena

This is my favourite pizzeria in Tuscany! Sit outside for the most gorgeous view of Siena. This was my second visit and unfortunately it was raining so we sat inside but still had a delightful experience. Highly recommend the pizza marinara if you want something without cheese. Thank you to Rio who took good care of us, especially with the Dievole wine. Service: Dine in

The only positive notes of the place are the view of Siena and the kindness of some of the waiters. As for the food, AWFUL experience: cuts of beef and pork not very edible, meat served very cold, dry and rubbery, it was difficult to swallow! It was evident that it had been prepared some time in advance and served as needed. Potatoes tasteless and served cold. For the cost of the individual dishes and the quality of the food, it's not very worth it. We had high expectations given the reviews and photos but terrible experience.

Very good quality of food, fast service and also a menu entirely dedicated to gluten-free. Both menus have all allergen warnings clearly explained. The only downside is that there are very few options for vegetarians and vegans. I find myself writing a review, because my friend's was deleted, I suppose because it was quite negative. The quality of the food not the best. The suckling pig I ordered (dish of the day) was cold, hard and difficult to chew. The cuts of beef from two of my friends, difficult to cut and chew, both cold. The location is very nice, the waiters are kind, the only flaw is the food. Service: Dine in
