Fun atmosphere. Lots of beer on tap. Friendly staff. The bbq chicken pizza was pretty good, but nothing outstanding. The salad had a small portion of dressing and hardly any vegetables. What you would except for pretty good bar food. Pricey small pizzas $20! .
My husband and I recently visited this restaurant. The waitress was very nice. No complaints about the service. The food however was not good. I had the chicken strips the coating was almost black it was so bad the fries had no seasoning. My husband had a hamburger. The patty was very small and dry. For the price we would have been better off with fast food.
The wife and I decided to stop in here on our way into Canada. Big mistake. The photos and the menu are pretty inaccurate for this dive bar. Even the menus that were handed to us they don't even follow. Ordered a Philly steak and cheese and got served steak and Nacho cheese on a open faced bun. Menu says provalone. Not sure who figures Nacho cheese works on a Philly steak sandwich but to me it was 100 percent inedible. The wife's burger literally had mozza on it. Mozza would have been great, but Nacho cheese? Gross. The fries were just string fries too, regardless of the pictures from previous guests having actual fries or steak fries. About the only thing going for this dive bar was they managed to chill the beer properly. Stop for the beer, not the food and you're fine.
The beer was good and cold. Now the bad: The French dips are the smallest things I ever did see they served on a hot dog bun and not very tasty. The beef nachos may have been better if the beef was cooked a lil more recently the on a dehydrator last month. The burger we had was way over cooked and super dry kind of ironic when the name was juicy lucy. By far the worst meal we have had ever in our years of traveling for work.
