The Pier Bistro - Sidney

Good. Nice food and good service. At first, when I inquired about placing a To Go order, the staff gave me the impression they were doing me a favor by allowing me to order. However, after they took my order, the food was prepared and packagedquickly. The seafood cakes are delicious. The only miss was the clam chowder. It is very creamy, with lots of seafood in it,but almost completely without flavor.

Check out this restaurant if you are in Sydney. Good setting right on the water. Had the crab cake, chowder and dish and chips. Crab cakes and chowder was amazing. Friendly staff and good food.

We were looking for a place to get Sunday lunch during the boat show and this place had the shortest line. We still had to wait but it went very quickly and soon we were seated on the heated patio. Crab cakes and chowder seemed like a good choice and wewere not disappointed. Portions were good sized and the view from our table was excellent. We had a front row seat to see localsailboats racing as we lunched! The crab cakes were the best we?ve had in eons and the chowder rivalled my own ; . Also theservice was efficient, friendly and fast. We?ll definitely be back.

Beautiful and homely place, so cozy and welcoming! Fish was perfectly battered and SO flavourful and fresh, it was a great first stop after arriving at the airport. Fries were a little weird and soggy but that is the only thing I would say was not on point!Overall, so good! Amazing portion sizes and bang for your buck!

I had seafood chower soup and seafood sandwich tonight as to go, they are sooo good! Which I don't agree too much with is 10% gratuity with be added to takeout. And the lettuce in the salad wasn't been washed. You can see the dirt..
