I have rarely seen such passion and dedication for eating. the warm, hearty chef serves amazing food from her own farm. we had about 15 small dishes that all tasted. very kreatiw, to earth and inviting. who is here must visit this restaurant. not important, but good to know: it is also very cheap for the great food that is served. Please note: reservation before the door is required (closed door policy.)
Francesco has a concept and he has developed it brilliantly in his restaurant. set at 9 o'clock on the point, not a minute sooner or later, and that starts. the waiters begin to their table all their delicious food, small portions, but...20 of them, mainly cooked with old recipes, simply great!
In this restaurant with my gatten cousins living in italia and eating was so delicious and service was fantastic! all house from own tomaten to vino. eating came straight.Chef also the owner and the gastfreundschaft was amazing .10/10!
Foreword: I have come to calabria for some time and have never really appreciated local flaire. to tonight! my friends brought me to u ricriju, I took reluctantly and now I am very glad that I did it. francesco, our host, has opened us. kindly welcomed to speak in tight calabrese dialect (urdu or tamil would sound the same, ehhh) accompanied us to our table and just food materialized before our eyes. I'm through! I am a pescaterian and I was worried that there were not enough options, wrong and we had only the appetizers. I urge that the people come to siderno and visit francesco and its restaurant.
Living here in Siderno have had the pleasure of eating here quite a few times, every time the food is excellent and in season, he prepares the dishes (Calabrian) like his Grandmother would have done. Olives and dried Tomatoes etc., are from the family farms...and he and family make them all. When visiting here you are also entertained by him, and if lucky his sister who is a lovely singer,and a few locals, great enjoyable night.
