Kuma's Corner West Loop - side

Everything we've ever had on our trips to Kuma's had been amazing. Food is delicious, beer selections are phenomenal, and the staff at the two locations we've visited have always been stellar.

I want to sing the praises of Kuma's mac cheese. Yeah, I know they are famous for their burgers, and rightly so. They've been doing impressive burgers long before all the gourmet burger wannabes. I don't know anything about heavy metal music, and I don't recognize the names of most of the bands, but their burgers are delicious and big. But that mac cheese? OMG. Some might look at this place and think it is just a kitchy burger place: burgers, beer, heaven metal music. That in and of itself will get people in the door. Your could ride that that theme and give sub standard food (I am looking at you hard rock cafe… But this is NOT this type of place. The food is thoughtful, even if trys to act like it is not. The burgers are good and giant, but 18 bucks is alot for a burger. I'd say worth trying but definitely other places in the city with great burgers for more reasonable prices.
