Jimmy's Pizza Cafe - side

Chicago doesn't have too many slice shops and Jimmy's doesn't disappoint! Highly recommend if you're looking for a NY slice, garlic knots, and some beignets. Foster and Lincoln will miss them as they make the move over to Montrose!

If there was a location in the suburbs I would eat there very often. The crust has such a good flavor and the sauce and cheese are perfect. I loved it! Only complaint I had was one of my slices that went into the hotbox tasted very smokey from all the burnt cheese.

Of all the supposed New York style pizza places in Chicago this might be the closest to actual NY pizza. I do not say this lightly. New York like Chicago is a town that takes it's pizza seriously and unlike chicago (where we have a wide array of styles and forms of pizza) NY decided to go all in on one particular type. Best pizza place in Chicago. The pizza is new haven style. Don't be afraid of the fancy flavors. In store, you order and then grab a table.

Pizza is incredible. Nyc style. Better than most actual nyc.
