A charming little place with tasty fish and chips. Feels local with attention to details, but the mechanism of order is slightly confusing.

A little pricey but considering where it is maybe not too bad. The chowder was good. The fish-n-chips was okay.

I loved this place! Great idea, and most affordable meal I had on my last trip to Chicago!

Grilled salmon dinner. Service here was great. The fish was lovely, very flavorful and perfect tenderness. Sides were disappointing hence the 4 stars. The broccoli salad was inedible, somehow grey as well as undercooked. The tots were unseasoned. Overall good but missing a few key elements.

The service and friendliness? Best I've had in the 4 days we were here! Smiles, the best recommendations, fast service. Coming to the Brown Bag was the best choice we made walking over before our flight home in the morning. Beautiful community to wander around before or after your meal. Their cooks know how to run a frier.
