I have been coming here for over 31 years. I live near Joliet and it is well worth the hour+ drive. Also, the same waiter for the whole 31 years except when he is on vacation. The best Italian restaurant in Chicago and I have been to a lot of them!

Highly recommend the chicken Vesuvio. This was my first meal when I brought home my first born. It was beyond delicious. Since, my boyfriend and I always order two plates to go.

First time visitor, and will definitely return. Meat ravioli excellent as was my wife's shrimp and pasta.

Excellent food and great service. Bonus if you like seafood. I would consider this an old school Italian eatery with a specialty in seafood, hence the seahorse on the sign. My husband was in heaven. I actually hate seafood, but still enjoyed everything I ordered.
