Konoba Marenda - Sibenik

A real must! Traditional family business (Grandma, daughter in law and her daughter who runs the small business). Every day different meals, you van choose from 4-5 dishes and all delicious and traditional. Cooked in a few large stoves in their small kitchen. And the taste is delicious! Very nice people who work there, and Grandma always comes to ask if we like it. Note: There is a Marenda 1 and Marenda 2!! Only 5 meters away, but they have another owner and a completely different menu. This review is abo it Marenda 2!!

Beautiful restaurant in the historical area, a beautiful waitress with very good English told us the menu of the day (about ten fish or meat dishes), the food was delicious and abundant! Say you want to pay in advance with the card or you need Kunas (euros is introduced on 1 January 2023)

One of the best restaurants I was during my trip in Croatia. The price is reasonable and the food is extremely fresh and properly prepared. Unlike most of the “recommended” restaurants you see around tourists, this is a true place. The staff is not very fluent in English (but still very helpful) and the customers are people from the neighborhood. By the way, get the lemonade! It is freshly pressed and with a hint of lavender! So refreshing.

Really tasty, home cooked style meals run by an older couple. Each day the menu rotates and generally there are four dishes to choose from. We had the stuffed peppers and lamb with peas. A very warming meal!

The food is amazing! We ate black risotto. Its a cute place, the stuff is really friendly too.
