901 Wood Burning Kitchen - Shrub Oak

I love the Pollo Scarpariello frm 901. I order it all the time sometimes in person and sometimes delivered by Door Dash and it is consistently delicious. And their brick oven pizzas are the best locally. If you go in person you should know they also make a great Manhattan!

I was excited to eat short ribs because of my cravings, but when I received them, they were mostly fat with very little meat.

This place used to be so so good! That is not the case at all anymore. This is what happens when leadership doesn't care anymore in quality let alone service. Also BREADED WINGS? Whats wrong with you!

Pretty good! The short rib is incredibly tender and a solid choice with the spinach and mashed potatoes, although this time it was literally half fat, so maybe not the best value. If they made the cuts more consistent, it would easily be 5 stars.

Excellent food and service. We ordered Pappardell Bolognese and Shrimp Scampi over Linguini. The pasta in both dishes was cooked perfectly al dente! Plenty of meat in the Bolognese and the scampi sauce was delicious though I would have liked a little more garlic. Both dishes came with a side salad and bread was placed on the table when we sat down. Service was great and friendly. I gave the atmosphere three stars only because the acoustics aren't so great making for a noisy setting. But, regardless of the noise level, we will definitely be returning!
