The Winding House Tea Rooms

The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance with a friendly staff and a fantastic homemade afternoon tea. Despite the rainy day, the views over the valley were still great. The attentive staff took great care of us and we will definitely be returning.

I treated myself to afternoon tea for two at this restaurant for my birthday. The sandwiches, scones, and cake were all fabulous, and the staff were lovely. I will definitely be returning in the future.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure. On a warm day, we opted to have lunch on the terrace which offered beautiful views of Bridgnorth. The food was outstanding. We even had a visit from Vic, the resident cat (named after the Victoria Sponge), although he was too lethargic from the heat to beg for any food. The staff was diligent and friendly, which is why we keep coming back to what we consider the top tea room in town!

This is such a cosy unique tea room. We visited on a very busy Saturday, and we could see that the girls on duty were really stretched. However, we were made to feel very welcome opted for a nice table next to the old fireplace. The food was delicious we only had to wait 10 minutes or so. A truly lovely experience.

Lovely lovely place,fresh food..real shame though about the( PORTION CONTROL)!! going on... Can't understand why..? because of that,sadly wouldn't want to return..
