Bidrage med feedbackWe stopped for lunch, soup was great. The lunch was well prepared and the staff took care of us very well.
Nice little village pub with a friendly atmosphere. It's my family's local and although I don't go there very often any more I always feel welcome when I do!
The beer at this restaurant is affordable and of good quality. They always have a good selection of local ales, as well as lager and spirits. The Guinness is particularly delicious. The restaurant also has a well-kept pool table with plenty of space around it. The jukebox has a wide variety of music. There is a nice outdoor area for sunny days, as well as a covered smoking area. The Manager/Owner is cheerful and witty, and the other bartender we met had a unique sense of humor that we enjoyed. We have visited this restaurant many times and have brought friends who have also enjoyed their experience. Keep up the great work - there should be more pubs like this one.
The restaurant appears to be quite old, but that seems to be the trend for most pubs nowadays. The bartender (possibly the owner) was fantastic to chat with and provided great insights about the area. It's a great spot to stop by for a drink, especially since they have the sports playing on TV as an added bonus.
A non existent experience. Despite an advertising board on the canal which showed 7 day a week opening from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. the pub was very definitely shut at 2.p.m. when we made the 10 minute walk from the canal.
