Churchills Cafe - Shropshire

Never tried this place before so had to give it a go. Service excellent. Menu choice comprehensive. Value for mone and quality of the food, also excellent.

What a great little find this was. Whilst waiting for my train, i decided that I needed a vegetarian breakfast before my journey. I was very happy with the food, hot, tasty and the best fried eggs ever. Service from both ladies was outstanding. This will now become my first choice whilst in Shrewsbury. Give it a go because you won't be disappointed

Brilliant breakfast for a good price. Really helpful, as soon as we entered as a group of 7, they moved tables about so we could all sit together. Food was quick and hot, we were given loads of toast and asked if we wanted more. My hubby coffee cup, kept being topped up (rest of us had tea). I’m fussy about crispy bacon, so requested this and it was perfect. Had a few recommendations of places to do and see. We all agreed best breakfast ever. Go and try for yourself.

As always when staying in a chain hotel , we looked for a good old fashioned local cafe when it came to breakfast. And that is Churchills real quality ..... the menu, the service, and good old fashioned cooking and presentation. And it 's such a hole in the wall it 's so easy to miss. This was so good, it should be on the town 's guide map.

We received a very warm welcome to the cafe by the owner. The place is spotlessly clean and we were served a nice full English breakfast that was excellent value for money. If I can offer just one slight improvement it would be the cooking of the fried eggs. The outer perimeter of our egg white were overcooked and crispy. This is one of my pet dislikes. My wife doesn't mind eggs cooked this way so she ate my crispy bits. In no way did this spoil our visit, it's just advice that can easily be corrected.
