Torchy's Tacos - Shreveport

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it did not meet them. Upon entering, you order at the bar and are given a buzzer to alert you when your food is ready. The server seemed unenthusiastic. I ordered two tacos, which cost between $4-$5 each. I tried the Trailer Park taco with a fried chicken strip and a Beef Fajita Taco, both of which were disappointing. The flavors were decent, but nothing special. The beef in the fajita taco was tough and chewy, and the "fresh-made" claim fell short. The atmosphere was loud, with a devil theme and curse words on the menu, which I did not appreciate. Overall, the high prices did not match the average quality of the food, and I do not plan on returning.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The ambiance is perfect for enjoying drinks. The queso is outstanding! I tried the trailer trash taco and it was delicious. My husband ordered two different tacos and enjoyed both. I will definitely be coming back. The tacos are hearty and I had to ask for an extra tortilla. Don't miss out on trying the berry margarita.

We have been waiting to go here for the longest and I was not disappointed! Despite the extrem loud music and being unable to hear the cashier, it was a pleasant experience. The tacos are so worth it and I wish I had gotten more than one! The queso and chips were extremely good as well. I did not enjoy the street corn. It was grainy and the alcoholic drink didn't taste like it had any alcohol in it. But the tacos saved the experience especially the shrimp ones!

Torchy?s was great! You simply place your order at the front and they bring it out to you wherever you sit! They have happy hour on margaritas and specials for taco Tuesday! I enjoyed all their different topping options and the fact they have vegetarian options! The elote was delicious as was the fried avocado taco and the fresh churros were phenomenal too! Not good as leftovers though lol

The tacos are very fresh! I've had a variety of tacos there including the fried avocado. So good! I had to wait a while as the server couldn't find me and my order was sent back to the kitchen. No major issue. Just asked them to check on it and it was delivered, hot and fresh. Can't wait to go back and try other varieties. Pretty crowded on Sunday lunch times.
