Ki' Mexico - Shreveport

The atmosphere wasn't bad however the smart mouth at the front door didn't help matters. Our waiter acted like he was to good to be doing the job he was doing. The food was about the worst attempt at Mexican food I've ever had. I ordered a agua de Jamaica and it tastes like bland cherry Kool aid. I will definitely not go back. In addition the parking lot is extremely small.

Went between lunch and supper, so it was not so busy, as inside dining area is usually packed, giving little room to breathe. We tried various tacos...the worst being fish tacos (I love them at other places) because we could smell the beached and bloated dead fish smell before waiter set the plates down. In all fairness, we braved it and each took a bite, only to learn a valuable lesson to trust our noses. The beef tacos and elote were good, the sweetened hibicus tea was bitter and when I asked for sugar, I was given equal, and told the didn't have sugar. What have they got against sugar? The dinner seemed less than mediocre to myself and guest. That is, until we tried the pollo poblano taco (wished we had just ordered them) The flan was perfect to be shared as it would e been too much for. Just one of us. All that cost over 100 bucks, and would truly have been better spent on just the chicken tacos and a coke. In Louisiana, we like our tea, if you are not going to serve it sweet, you really need to have sugar on hand for those of us that know how to sweeten it! The 3 stars only goes to the chicken tacos and flan.??️

Best tacos I have ever had in my life. I am a different man now after having had Ki' Mexico. Update July 2024: Ki Mexico is still delicious!

Was so happy to finally try this spot after hearing so many good things! All the food was so fresh and amazing and I’m really glad I got an elote to go (was so full after my torta so I took it home) The drinks were delicious and strong, the service was prompt and friendly despite them being pretty busy. Definitely worth a try!! Vegetarian options: Try the nopales!

The tacos were amazing ! I ordered the cochinita and shrimp tacos they were out of this world amazing, perfect flavors, crunchiness and just yumminess all over. The Michelada was super authentic and rich flavor ! The atmosphere was just so cool it makes you want to stay there all day! Chips salsas and guacamole were so fresh! Unique flavors, definitely coming back love love love it there
