Fat Calf Brasserie - Shreveport

We had a lovely dinner at this place. It’s definitely a special occasion restaurant. Excellent wine selection and the food was truly delicious. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The wait time for the food was really really long, but we did not mind this as we were with friends having a wonderful visit. If you’re hungry and don’t have time to spare I’d say go somewhere else. If you want to sit and drink wine and chat up your friends, excellent choice.

We went for my birthday dinner and will be back! I had the duck and my husband had the pork chop, both were amazing! We were treated so well by the staff, sat quickly and the overall the whole place was run like a well oiled machine! We enjoyed appetizers, cocktails, our meal and a complimentary dessert for my birthday, all for a very reasonable price! We cannot wait to go back!

The food was amazing. They recently updated their menu and everything looked so good. The servers were so kind and the vibe was perfect for conversation. The broth for the escargot was amazing. The scallops were cooked perfectly and placed on a delicious zucchini patty that I honestly would have ordered on its own. For dessert I had the chocolate pot de cream. It was four layers and each layer was so good and could have been eaten on his own but were very nice all together. Will be coming back.
