The Central - Shotton

The Central Hotel was a pleasant spot to visit. We stopped in for lunch, and there was a nice variety of food on the menu. While I suspected that none of the dishes were freshly prepared given the extensive options, they were still quite tasty. We ordered a jacket potato with beans for our daughter, but it turned out to be quite dry and unappetizing. The tables weren’t particularly clean, and we had to wipe down the cutlery before using it. However, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the decor complemented the building, contributing to the cozy ambiance of the place.

As with all fast-food places, McDonald's prices are reasonable for decent food. The atmosphere was lovely, and despite it being 8 o'clock on a Friday night, we had no trouble finding a table. The only issue was with the handles, but that wasn’t a major problem. I even left my journal on the table with my kids while I went to the restroom, and it was still there when I got back. I may be 18, but I didn't look that age and wasn't questioned about it.
