Bidrage med feedbackThe fish and chips here are truly delicious, and their milkshakes are exceptional! The outdoor seating area could use some tidying up, but the restaurant itself is lovely and conveniently located next to the visitor center.
This small cafe is a great spot to visit, especially after a trip to Penguin Island. The food and coffee are delicious and served promptly, just as you would expect from a cafe. Everything was excellent, but the only downside was that no one was seen cleaning the tables outside.
Great location, nice staff, well managed and excellent coffee. A regular stop for us walking along the Shoalwater Ocean Front. Occasionally we treat ourselves for lunch, and the steak sandwiches and fish N chips are fabulous. Ferry travelers to Penguin Island, make sure you have a little more time to avoid the last minute panic Many outdoor seating, with some protected for the cooler breezy winter days.
The woman and I came here for breakfast before I went to Penguin Island. To be honest, I expected a typical "heated food tourist trap@ type location. But it was far from it. The food was pretty good and cheap. The only problem...was the eco-style cutlery works really well. I would recommend a visit before the entrance for the island.
I consistently have amazing meals at this restaurant. The salad dressings are obviously made in-house and the chef is extremely skilled. I am a frequent customer because the coffee is always delicious and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the location. The quality of the food is definitely worth the cost.
