Bar Restaurant And Pizza Simoni

This restaurant is located on the coast of Lake Skadar in Shkoder, Albania. The food is excellent, the portion sizes are generous, and the servers are polite and friendly. Highly recommend!

Food was good for the price. Took a while to get our food.

It has a fantastic terrace by the lake. Delicious food but unfortunately it came to us cold. I did not like the pizza. Very poor service for a restaurant with such a fantastic view, and very reasonable price. I waited longer, but I was disappointed.

Way better experience if you sit outside. A lot of noise inside, poor air quality and could not see the view properly. Do not expect trained profesional staff. The kitchen is not visible while they cook compared to some restaurant for example. The risoto I ordered was swimming in oil the mushrooms were not fresh, so I left it. The fish was ok, looked fine tasted nice and simple also the mixed corn bread was nice. Not much of a memorable place that you can have a longing to go back. Perhaps sitting on the second floor during sunset can enhance the experience. Their fish might go well with Kallmet Prestigj but not sure if they have it. Located at the center of Shiroka on a weekend expect more cars passing. We still thanked them for the food and service left a tip.

I find it to have a beautiful architecture, with ancient trees incorporated into the restaurant that in the summer shade and coolness by the lake that seems like the sea for how extensive it is. It is the oldest restaurant in the area, but also the most modern. I always come here to eat the levrek (sea bass) freshly caught on the grill and homemade fries with yogurt sauce (an Albanian classic) which is like the Greek tzatziki but without cucumber.. delicious. I love this place, it is very inexpensive, they are very kind, and everything is very fresh.
