Naocacoan - Shimoda

Having lunch at this restaurant is always a treat. The food is delicious and satisfying.

I ordered delicious and budget-friendly Japanese bento boxes delivered straight to my door. I requested two different types from Naoko, as we planned to enjoy one for lunch and one for dinner. She happily accommodated our request and provided us with two flavorful lunch boxes. When she delivered the food, I had a pleasant chat with her and learned that she had used produce from her garden that morning to prepare our bento, bypassing the need to go to the supermarket. This personalized touch was truly impressive. As a vegan in Shimoda with limited options, I am thrilled to have discovered her through Happy Cow.

Minimum order 4000¥, order the day before. We ordered at 21:00 and did not expect it to be possible with such short notice but we got two delicious lunch boxes delivered to Kisami the following day. Rice curry, fried fake meat and vegetables, bento-box style. Perfect for bringing along a hike or to eat at the beach. Highly recommend!

During our stay in Shimoda during the off-season, we found limited dining options, especially for vegetarians and vegans. Luckily, Naoka delivered some tasty curry rice salad boxes to our hotel upon our request. We contacted her the night before and received the delivery for lunch the following day. We were very impressed with her excellent service!

Delicious and affordable Japanese bento delivered to their door. we asked naoko if she could make two different types of bento, as we wanted to eat one for lunch and one for dinner. she said yes and prepared two delicious lunchboxes for us. I talked a bit with her when she broke the food, and she explained that she didn't have to go to the super market to prepare our bento. everything was made from products that she had picked up in her garden tomorrow. so amazing. shimoda has not many options for vegan, so I am really happy that I found them on happy cow.
