Sushi Taxi - Sherbrooke

We had a great meal in the sushi taxi! it seemed to be a bit expensive at first, but my data and I shared two plates (9 and 12 rolls) and it was the perfect amount. we loved the different aromes and variety in the plates and found everything super fresh, so at the end the price worth. the wine was affordable, the service was great and the restaurant was very clean with a beautiful ambiente. it will definitely become our new Go-to Sushi Square!

Very pretty looking makizushi which was vaguely unpleasant in taste. An odd formaldehyde-like flavor lingered around two of the three sushis. In addition the palette of flavors was overly sweet and hid the taste of the fish. This impression was exacerbated by the cupcake-like decorations. The swamping of the flavors of the fish was repeated with the tuna tartare which, while pleasant, tasted mainly of sweet tomato (and even possibly paprika? . The squid was very nice though. Staff were pleasant albeit there was a delay in taking initial drink orders.

I'd heard good things about this restaurant, but when I finally got around to trying it, they took my delivery order on their website and refused to send the food. They also said they couldn't refund the money because the owner wasn't there and wouldn't return from holidays until after the New Year. It has now been over two weeks, and I have phoned the restaurant about 5 time to try to get my money back, but nothing has happened. Every time I call, the owner isn't there, and I'm told to call back another time, and the owner still isn't there, nor do they return my phone call. This is an absolutely absurd business practice, and it seems clear that they are clearly intent on swindling people out of money. Whatever you do, DO NOT order any food online through their website or pay any money up front, because you will NEVER get it back!
