Just had a lovely meal at the George in Sherborne, we had fish and chips and a steak burger which was lovely Cheesecake and profiteroles for pudding both tasted really good The service was excellent very friendly the pub had a great atmosphere Would definitely visit again Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I 've been going there for years, with my old dad (who lives locally , The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is very good and reasonably priced, and you 're in the oldest pub in Sherborne. The atmosphere is great. I would recommend The George to anyone. It 's also in a great location... right at the top of Cheap Street (Sherborne 's high street . Long may The George continue! Parking: Most of the time, you can park right outside on the street (with a time limit but there are plenty of other parking options very close by at the top of the high street.
