Yet again an excellent meal. I had the special which was a toastie with pastrami,pickles,mozarella cheese and Dijon mustard. The coffee was as always very good and piping hot. Everyone was delighted with their meal.

Came here last week and really enjoyed it, came again today and was so disappointed. Finished our lunch then was left with our dirty plates left on our table for so long to the point where we had to take our plates up to the counter as we was not getting paid any attention to. We had also asked for cake when we ordered our lunch which was also clearly forgotten about, we had to leave so had to go up and ask to get the cake for take away as we was fed up and just wanted to leave, £48 bill for 3 sandwiches, 2 coffees and 1 hot chocolate with 3 slices of cake. Ridiculous prices could get a takeaway for that. Staff are too busy chatting away to eachother and ignoring customers blatantly, either get new staff who are competent or face customers not returning, sick of places ripping people off and giving **** customer service in return. Avoid this place until it sorts its staff out. Shocking

Excellent range of light bites and specials we had really good toasties with home made potato salad . The coffee was outstanding with a wide range of homemade cakes made it a wonderful lunch . The service was first class friendly and attentive looking forward to our next visit .

Awww YUMMY had a couple of salads and a cake, completely yum. The salmon cakes are a smack around the chops with capery deliciousness, freshly cooked and freshly made. £13.50). Picked up the food and ate on a bench overlooking France 10m walk from the cafe) Very recommended

After a brisk blustery walk we dived into this place for refreshments. Wasn’t the warmest welcome when we walked in but by the time we came to order the staff were really attentive. Refreshments and cake were great.
