Riverdale Diner - Shelton

I don?t think I have had a single bad experience with this diner since I first tried them after I had moved to the area a couple years ago now!! Everything I have tried has been delicious and the wait staff have been so awesome every time! One thing I haveto say I found quite impressive is that the first handful of times I had ordered from here I was using one of the delivery appsbc I was craving pancakes or eggs Benedict or whatever it was at that point and they somehow have been able to make the foodstill be just as amazing after having to be delivered as it is when I have actually went in to sit and eat in the diningroom!!!! I have a 6 y/o son who?s got some behavioral issues and emotional issues and he can be super particular about his foodand he has been very happy every time we have went in to eat and again the wait staff has been more than happy and willing toaccommodate whatever he is wanting that day also!!!!

I ordered takeout. My pancake order was wrong, but they did try to work with me to correct it. It was Thanksgiving day, so I had too many things to do and forgot to pick up the pancakes on my way to dinner. Other than that the food was decent. Greatcustomer service.

Joke of a diner. Came for breakfast before work and ordered steak and eggs. Waited close to 30 minutes to get my meal that was supposed to cooked medium rare. Steak was RARE. Purple inside, bleeding, and cold. Both ?managers? were ultra aggressive tellingme the steak was MEDIUM rare. Take a look at the picture and you decide. I refused having it cooked more because I was alreadylate for work. Never have I been so disrespected by a ?manager? before in my life. Guy was a complete joke of a professional.I?ll spread the word on that as much as I can. Avoid at all costs if you want quality timely service. If you do go? ordersomething simple that the incompetent kitchen staff can successfully master. Perhaps, Ice water and toast.

Great place! Good service and food. A little pricey but portions are very generous. Will definitely be back. Update: Finally got here for breakfast. Coffee was good. The Belgian waffle was perfect-fluffy and tasty. My SO had the sausage gravy biscuitand eggs which he said was very flavorful. Once again a little pricey but portions are generous and service was great!

Average place. Came to 21 dollars including tip for one for the big breakfast. Home fries were salty and mushy. Sausage and bacon appeared dry as if cooked previously and reheated. I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for more than a quickbreakfast.
